Loudoun County Chamber Announces 34 Finalists for 2008 Small Business Awards; Winners Will Be Announced at the November 6th Gala Awards Dinner at the National Conference Center
Leesburg, VA - The Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce announced today the names of the 34 finalists selected to compete in nine business categories for the 2008 Small Business Awards.
On November 6th at the National Conference Center, the winners in each of nine categories will be announced before a packed room of more than 500 county business and community leaders at the Annual Gala Awards Dinner.
The 34 finalists were selected by blue ribbon committees of business leaders and industry experts, who carefully examined more than 221 nominations from the best businesses and entrepreneurs that Loudoun County has to offer.
"Just to be chosen as a finalist for Loudoun County's premier business honor is a tremendous honor. The competition for the Small Business Awards is incredibly fierce, with 221 of the most dynamic, innovative and successful companies in the region striving to earn the most prestigious recognition for business excellence in Loudoun County," said Chamber President Tony Howard.
Finalists will compete for awards in these nine categories: Agriculture & Equine; Franchise, Entrepreneur; Home Based Business; Product; Retail; Service; Small Business; and Technology.
